Located 44 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah County is the second largest populated county in Utah. The elevation in the valley ranges between 4,480 - 4,700 feet above sea level. The highest point is Mt. Nebo at 11,928 ft. and the lowest point is at the Jordan River Flood Plain at 4,480 ft. Utah County boasts outstanding scenic views, including Mount Timpanogos, Bridal Veil Falls, Cascade Springs, Squaw Peak, Alpine Loop Scenic Byway, and Nebo Loop Scenic Byway.
Utah County is also home to interesting historic sites like the Historic Courthouse and Fort Utah.
Within an hour’s drive there are many excellent ski areas, including Sundance Resort in Provo Canyon.
